The loan agreement between Shelbourne and Bohemians, which brings striker Mark Hughes to Tolka Park was finally tied up on Saturday (Feb 6th). Mark now becomes the 18th member in manager Dermot Keely's squad ahead of the start of the 2010 season.

Mark Hughes. Striker Hughes was born in Dublin in December 1989. He joined Shelbourne ‘on loan’ from Bohemians in February 2010.
Mark joined Bohemians at the start of the 2008 season and played regularly on their team in the “A” League which reached the final of that competition that season
He scored against Shelbourne in the in their 4-3 defeat to the Phibsboro’ side in the League Cup in May 2009
During the 2009 season, Hughes played a part in three league games with the Gypsies, the most important of these was when he scored the only goal of the game in the 94th minute against Drogheda United on May 22nd. Although Mark played most of the 2009 season playing in the “A” league, he was part of the team that defeated Waterford United in the final of the League Cup that season.
