Shelbourne FC is pleased to announce the appointment of Seana Cooke to its Board of Management.

Seana was an Irish international footballer at U19 and Senior level and represented her country at the World University Games in 2013. She currently plays for our Women’s National League side, having previously played for Raheny United and Arsenal FC. Seana has played in the UEFA Champions League for three different clubs, including Shelbourne.

During a spell with Durham WFC, Seana also worked with the Sports Department at Durham University and coached the Durham FC development team. She is currently coaching Shelbourne’s WNL U17 team.

Cooke said: “I am really honoured to become a member of the board of management at Shelbourne FC, it is even more special for me as I grew up attending matches in Tolka Park. I aim to use this position in the most effective way possible, especially to help progress women’s football within the club and on a national level. I also want to use my sporting and working experience to help the club develop both on and off the field.”

Seana is a senior IT, marketing and business development executive with Stint Ireland. Seana’s footballing and marketing knowledge and experience are an invaluable addition to our club and we are delighted to welcome her to our Board of Management.
